News-2-You is a US designed symbol/web based newspaper that has been available now for 8 years in the USA and has already spread to Australia.
Now it’s coming to the UK! It is aimed at teachers, carers and professionals to provide ideas and concepts to assist with working with children with learning and vocal difficulties in the school or in the home.
Each weekly paper consists of between 15 and 20 pages, with each page being a few simple sentences in both text and symbols.
The main story is something newsworthy and relevant.
Additional pages, such as Places in the News and the Puzzle Page relate back to the first story. In addition there are usually other “news” stories and a sports page.
The UK version will NOT be an Anglicised USA paper, but a UK based paper, written in the UK by UK speech professionals. For November, December and January the UK paper will be a monthly edition and totally FREE!

After January the paper will become weekly and will then be open to subscribers only. Subscription can be on an individual basis or in a group (which substantially reduces cost). The subscription form will be available on the website towards the end of the year.
